July 26-30, 2017—Give Me the Bible. Guest Speaker and Principal Presenter at the 2017 Camp Meeting of the Pacific Ghanaian Adventist Fellowship (PaGAF) in Flagstaff, Arizona. Delivered 7 presentations on why we need the Bible. (PaGAF is the Western zone of the North American Ghanaian Seventh-day Adventist churches.) Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, Arizona, USA.
July 2-9, 2017—Africa Haguruka Conference. Guest Speaker at the annual Africa Arise & Shine International Conference in Kigali, Rwanda. Themed “The 7 Mountains,” the 2017 conference focuses on seven spheres of African society:—namely, Leadership & Governance, Education, Arts & Entertainment, Media, Economy, Family, and Religion. I speak on “The Mountain of Education & Youth Empowerment, under the following topics: 1. “The Correlation Between the State of Africa & Her Education Systems”; 2. “The Role of Christian Values in Our Education Systems”; 3. “Christian Parenting Today: Challenges and Blessings”; 4. “Youth Mentorship (Panelist)”; and 5. “African Youth and Excellence.” (NOTE: Haguruka means “stand up” in Kinyarwanda. The Haguruka conference is a yearly event that brings together African thought-leaders for the purpose of addressing major challenges facing the continent by applying biblical principles. The event (average attendance is about 10,000) is sponsored by Authentic Word Ministries and Zion Temple Celebration Center in Kigali, Rwanda).
June 23-26, 2017—Excellence, Integrity & Service. Guest Speaker and Presenter at the 2017 Missions Empowerment Conference (MEC) in Abuja, Nigeria. (MEC is an international leadership training and missions conference; it is organized every 2 years by ALIVE-Nigeria, a non-profit organization of Adventist graduates and young professionals.) Hotel Interconnect, Abuja, Nigeria.
June 9-11, 2017—”Dunia ya Heri“ (“Land of Blessing”). Special guest at the inauguration of Dunia ya Heri Children’s Home (or Orphanage). Dunia ya Heri is a Swahili word that means “Land of Blessing.” The newly constructed Children’s Home is the first phase of the “African Family & Health Care” project at Yale Yale Puna, in the Kigamboni District of Tanzania. The facility was officially opened on Sunday, June 11, 2017, by Dr. Ulisubisya Mpoki, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health in Tanzania. Besides other government officials, the mayor of the region, the local chief of the area, and the news media, friends of “Dunia ya Heri” from several countries (e.g., Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, USA, etc.) were present to grace the occasion.

March 20-25, 2017—Week of Spiritual Emphasis. Valley View University (Ghana’s premier private university). There were two sessions a day–morning (9:15am-10:15am) and evening (6:30pm-8:00pm). Seth Laryea Multi-Purpose Center, VVU Campus, Oyibi, Accra, Ghana. (NOTE: The programs were also aired live on VVU Radio, FM 97.7, and VVU TV via livestream).
February 18-25, 2017: Africa, Do You Know? Main speaker at a public lecture series at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). The goal was to effect transformational change in the lives of students, faculty, and staff. Great Hall, KNUST, Kumasi, Ghana.
January 25-30, 2017—Africa Arise Conference & AU’s African Heads of State Prayer Breakfast. Co-Moderator (with Dr. Delanyo Adadevoh) at the Africa Arise Conference. The conference is a yearly event that is conducted by the “Africa Arise Network” alongside the annual African Heads of States Summit in Ethiopia. Themed “Together for Destiny—Bridging the Generational Gap,” the 2017 conference was held at Beza International Church, in Addis Ababa, and concluded with the annual AU’s African Heads of State Prayer Breakfast at the Multipurpose Hall of the African Union Headquarters, Addis Ababa Ethiopia. (NOTE: Now in its 9th year, the Africa Arise Network is a movement of African leaders who are committed to combatting Africa’s unique challenges from a Biblical perspective.)
January 15, 2017: “Making Africa Great Again: Valuable Lessons from China.” A Presentation to representatives of the General Union of African Students’ in Tianjin ( GUAST), China. (NOTE: The city of Tianjin, being the fourth largest in China (after Shanghai, Beijing, and Guangzhou), has a large number of African students studying in the area. The purpose of the meeting was to inspire, encourage, and challenge them to learn valuable lessons from China to be adapted to the challenges of the African continent).

December 4-10, 2016: Transformational Leadership Training. A 7-day leadership training program jointly hosted by CITAM (Christ Is The Answer Ministries) churches in Kenya. Mount Kenya Academy, Nyeri, Kenya.
November 14-15, 2016, Rethinking Education for the New Millennium. Supported Edaala (an EAGLESonline’s youth partner in Uganda) at the 2016 World Bank Group Youth Summit. Edaala’s proposal, titled “A Proposal to Significantly Reduce the Rate of Graduate Youth Unemployment in Uganda through A Graduate Agricultural Education Reform Trainee Program,” was one of the few select among the 1,800 submissions. November 3, 2016: “Tackling Ghana’s Developmental Challenges: Where Is the Role of Excellence?” Guest Practitioner Lecturer at the University of Ghana Business School for the course “The Political Setting of Public Administration.” University of Ghana Business School, Legon, Ghana.
October 24-29, 2016: Excellence: Going Higher than the Highest. Main speaker at a public lecture series to effect transformational social change. Presented a total of 12 lectures to two separate the audiences. (A morning presentation to students, faculty, and staff at the Takoradi Technical University; and an evening presentation at the Shippers Council to the higher ranks of the community). October 15, 2016: Peace or Pieces: Monkey Solutions & the Butterfly Effect. Guest Speaker at a Peace Concert to promote peace during Ghana’s December 7, 2016 elections. A Delegate to the 2016 African Green Revolution Forum (AGRF), a forum that brings together prominent thought leaders, heads of state and government, scientists, farmer organizations, business leaders and captains of industry, eminent thought leaders, development partners, researchers, and finance & investment leads to provide solutions to agriculture in Africa.
